I never really thought about what kind of beach one finds in England. I guess I imagined a rocky coast like that of Maine. This past weekend I even visited a chalky coast line in Seaford. The beach itself consisted of millions of pebbles ranging in size. I even managed to pick up a heart-shaped one (see both sides below).
Later that day, as we drove along the southwestern coast line, we finally found ourselves at a sandy beach in Littlehampton. Adam had to stop to take pictures and walk on the beach.
We arrived shortly before the tide covered the beach entirely, and with storm clouds on one side and sun on the other we saw an amazing double rainbow.
Our day concluded with a gorgeous sunset.
