Reflect on the JASNA IVP experience in 500 words + pictures. That was my charge from the International Visitor Program. No problem, right? The other IVs submitted articles to the newsletter. How difficult can it be?
The task is not as easy as it may sound. How does one condense six weeks into 500 words, or even a handful of pictures?
Luckily, I had this blog to which I could refer readers of the forthcoming newsletter. I highlight in the article the wonderful timing of being in England, specifically Winchester as I was, for the bicentenary of Austen’s death. I also talk about blogging. How meta, right? Here I am writing a blog post about writing an article about blogging. Yup, that’s how I roll! I also get to use the writing from the blog to continue to speak for me, and that makes me happy!
Thank you all for reading my blog posts (as many as you could keep up with) this summer. Thank you all for your continued support. Your “comments,” “likes,” “shares,” “reposts,” and more mean the world to me!
