I have been writing my cancer memoir for over a year. This month I decided to finish it. It is now the last day July 2019, and I am ready to start sharing it with the public. This post is the first step in that direction.
At the suggestion of a friend, I have been entertaining the idea of creating an audiobook version of my memoir. Here is the introduction to “The Roller Coaster: A Breast Cancer Story” by Misty Krueger:
I am teaching audio essays in the fall, so at the very least I will work with this file to show my students how to create an audio essay. I will add music, other sounds (such as the sound of people on a roller coaster), and some pauses to allow brief moments of reflection for the reader.
